New artwork: Human

Greetings, fellow fans! There was a tie for the next artwork to be revealed, so it went down to choosing the one with the most extravagant hairdo: it's Cher from the movie Stuck On You! She did a fairly lengthy and wisecracking cameo in this 2003 comedy, for which she also recorded a song called "Human". Although widely reminiscent of one of the outfits Cher wore in the film, the artwork is based more closely on a photoshoot made for her latest show at Caesar's Palace.

Another artwork will be revealed later this week. Which one do you want to see next, fellow fans? "Perfection", "Hell on Wheels", "Dead Ringer for Love", or "Main Man"?

I Got You Babe

A rather modern look for the 1965 signature song from Sonny & Cher. The legendary duo performed "I Got You Babe" numerous times on their show throughout its three year run, and one last time during a David Letterman interview in 1987, years after the couple's divorce. But in 2002, Cher sprung up for a special event on February 14, joining her voice with that of R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe to perform "I Got You Babe" for the very first time without Sonny.

Now which artwork do you want to see next, fellow fans? "Perfection", "Hell on Wheels", "Dead Ringer for Love", "Human" or "Main Man"?

We All Sleep Alone

One of the many new artworks accomplished this past week: this one for the song"We All Sleep Alone"! Cher wore this outfit for the Do You Believe? tour, underneath a full over-the-top (as usual) pirate dress up she would unclothe right after coming on stage.

By the way, the last artworks are ready! Say which one you want to see next: "Perfection", "Hell on Wheels", "I Got You Babe", "Dead Ringer for Love", "Human" or "Main Man"?

It's Laverne!

A playing card deck of Cher wouldn't be complete without Laverne! This funny gum popping character was introduced in the Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour in the 70's and made a comeback decades later during Cher's three-year run at the Colosseum, still fresh like a rose doing backflips and all.

Next, I am debating whether I include "I Got You Babe" or not since it seems so intricate to Sonny & Cher rather than just Cher. Did she move along, you think? If it shall be included, I definitely need a hand finding "the" outfit that would be paired with this song. It's been performed so many times in the Comedy Hour show that it makes a wide selection!

...Otherwise, how do you like "It's the Little Things"?

New Card Design

Greetings, fellow fans! The cards are in the process of getting revamped with this brand new design I came up with the last week. Many other things are in progress but not yet ready to be shown, such as the card's back, the jokers (today's Ringmaster artwork will actually be used as a joker), new lyrics selection, and last but not least: the Royal cards! I'm pretty excited about these!

In the meantime, there's no poll this week but you are gladly invited to answer a short and sweet question: among all the movies Cher has starred in, which male co-stars were your favorite? Try to pick up to 4 actors if you can. Thanks, fellow fans!

The "Hell on Wheels" poll!

Greetings, fellow fans! The song/outfit selection for the Cher Playing Cards is almost complete! This week we are digging out a roller-disco hit from 1979, "Hell on Wheels", and it needs an outfit!

On the left, we have the outfit from the official music video, which was the first professional video Cher has made in her career! On the right, we have an outfit from a 1979 photoshoot strongly reminiscent of the song's thematic.

Which one is your favorite, fellow fans? Don't waste any minute and cast your vote at the top of the left sidebar!
